The independence and confidence gained from travelling and stepping out of our comfort zone cannot be overstated, and indeed was the starting point for LEAP – could we develop a programme that expanded our students’ horizons and developed their leadership qualities?
Our LEAP cohort are able to apply for awards of up to £2,500 to undertake an adventure over the summer. Students are asked to consider how their adventure might develop their independence, build their confidence or help with their future career.
